The Noblesville Fire Department is pleased to announce that Chad Hatfield and Cory Mahon have successfully completed the Eskenazi/Indianapolis EMS Paramedic Science Program, which was highlighted with a commencement ceremony on Dec. 13.

The 12-month course consisted of national curriculum which included 440 hours in the classroom and laboratory, 270 hours in hospital clinical areas and 480 hours on advanced life support ambulances.
“We are grateful for the time and personal sacrifice these men made to advance their knowledge in emergency medicine for the community they serve,” said James Macky, Division Chief of Emergency Medical Services. “We are also grateful to their families who sacrificed and supported their loved ones through this long and difficult journey.”
Now that both have met the requirements to become licensed paramedics in the State of Indiana, they will complete a 240-hour supervised field training program for the Noblesville Fire Department before being released to function independently as paramedics for the fire department.
