Two candidate forums for Hamilton County, State races

With Primary Election Day approaching on May 8 and contested races for Hamilton County and state offices, it’s important that the business community be prepared to vote. The Hamilton County Business Issues Committee, made up of OneZone and the other county chambers, offers two opportunities to hear from the candidates.

Friday, April 13: County Candidates Forum

  • County Commissioner District 1 – Christine Altman (R), Matt Milam (R)
  • County Council District 1 – Fred Glynn (R), Sue Maki (R)
  • County Council District 3 – Steve Schwartz (R), Mark Hall (R), Jeremy Hawk (D), Gregg Werling (D)
  • County Council District 4 – Ken Alexander (R), Sheldon Barnes (R), Christine Pauley (R), Rick Sharp (R)

Friday, April 27: State Candidates Forum

  • State Representative District 29 – Brad Beaver (R), Garen Bragg (R), Charles Goodrich (R), Greg O’Conner (R)
  • State Representative District 39 – Tom Linkmeyer (R), Gerald Torr (R)
  • State Senator District 29 – Mike Delph (R), Corrie Meyer (R)

Both events will be held from 7:30 to 9 a.m. at Conner Prairie, 13400 Allisonville Road, Fishers. Cost is $20 for members of any Hamilton County chamber and $30 for non-members.
