Try out oil panting with Walt Thacker & Hamilton County Artists’ Association

Winter is here, days are short, and we’re stuck indoors. Have you ever wanted to try your hand at something new? At the Hamilton County Artists’ Association, Walt Thacker will teach an oil painting class on Saturday, Jan. 20. This is a one-day workshop from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. All paints, brushes, and canvas will be supplied. You will follow Thacker’s instruction mixing paint, using brushes, and painting a Parke County-style covered bridge. For $45 you will have an 11-by-14-inch painting ready for framing.
