Editor’s note: Indiana Treasurer of State Daniel Elliott released the following notice on Friday morning.
Dear Fellow Hoosier:
I want to personally update you on a key development involving TrustINdiana, the state’s local government investment pool that helps safeguard and grow taxpayer dollars.
I want to assure you that the program will remain under the Treasurer’s Office, and I will continue serving as its administrator. I am grateful to all of you fought alongside me to keep TrustINdiana free from the influence of special interests.
For Hoosiers, TrustINdiana’s impact is real and tangible. When public funds grow through smart, secure investments, it gives local governments an extra tool to stretch their budgets, enhance infrastructure, and provide essential services without further raising taxes.
As your State Treasurer, rest assured that I’ll keep fighting to protect your money and ensure transparency, accountability, and strong returns for Hoosiers across Indiana. You deserve nothing less.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact my office at tosstaff@tos.in.gov.
In service,
Daniel Elliott
Indiana State Treasurer
