Trent Eugene Worthman, 74, passed away on February 28, 2022, at his home near Arcadia.
He was born on October 2, 1948, in Noblesville to Richard Leroy and Martha Rose (Davis) Ludlow. He grew up in the Alexandria, Ind., area and graduated from Alexandria High School with the Class of 1967. He then honorably served his country in the Indiana National Guard. He also worked as an electrician at Delphi Electronics in Kokomo for over 25 years.
He was a member of Orestes Christian Church.
His family related that he was an outdoor guy. He liked to hunt, fish, and go four-wheeling. He also looked forward to renting a cabin in Michigan and having his entire family join him and his wife there. He was a collector of pocket watches and guns, and he enjoyed going to gun shows.
He married Sheila Kay (Speer) Worthman on May 21, 1967. She survives him. Also surviving is a son, Shane Michael (Michelle) Worthman of Arcadia; and the following grandchildren, Clayton, Caylee, Ivy, Mica, and Skyler Worthman.
His parents and a daughter, Stephanie Worthman, preceded him in death.
A time of visitation will be from 2 until 4 p.m. on Sunday, March 13, 2022, at Hartley Funeral Home Cicero Chapel, 209 W. Jackson St., Cicero, with a great-nephew, Blake Robinson, officiating the service.
