The Hamilton Southeastern girls track and field track dominated the field at the Penn Lady Kingsmen Invitational on Saturday.
The Royals easily won the team trophy with 166 points, well ahead of runner-up Penn’s 98 points. Southeastern scored points in every event, winning six of them.
The Royals scored a distance sweep, with Halle Hill finishing first in the 800 run, Allie Latta pacing the 1600 run and Maggie Powers winning the 3200. Hill would later team with Alyssa Barker, Annice McFarland and Regan Wans to win the 4×400 relay.
In the field events, Ella Wilhelm cleared 11 feet to take first in the pole vault, while Jehnea Mirro won the long jump.
The Royals will host Lawrence North Tuesday in a dual meet.

Southeastern’s boys team also got a nice victory on Saturday, winning the Muncie Relays.
The Royals scored 146 points, exactly 50 points ahead of runner-up Delta’s 96. Individual winners for HSE were Gage Pratt in the 100 dash, Bennett Dubois in the 3200 run, Will Gerig in the 300 hurdles, Connor Sarkovics in the 1600 run, Raj Grewal in the high jump and Xan Cluff in the pole vault. The Royals also won the distance medley and 4×400 relays.
Southeastern will compete in the Noblesville Miller Invitational on Tuesday.
