Beginning on or after Tuesday, March 19, 106th Street between Cumberland Road and Hamilton Pass will be closed to all thru traffic for a bridge replacement project. That’s about 1.5 miles east of the Interstate 69/106th Street interchange.
The anticipated roadway reopening date is Friday, Oct. 18.
Local traffic will continue to have access to their homes, while thru traffic should use the posted detour route of Cumberland Road, 96th Street, and Mollenkopf Road.
It’s great to update and do the bridge but one month is a long time.
