Lowell Wilson of Noblesville has a cherry tomato plant that has delusions of grandeur and is trying to be a tree. According to Wilson, it is growing out of control and has far exceeded the record for tomato plants. “It was over eight feet tall and six feet wide before its mere size was too much for the stakes to support and caused it to fall over,” Wilson told The Reporter. This Little Shop of Horrors wannabe has nearly taken over the front deck of his house and has reportedly been given no special fertilizer or any water other than what nature provides.
