Finkam
Carmel City Council President and Northeast Carmel representative Sue Finkam will hold a Town Hall at 6 p.m. this evening at the Wilfong Pavilion within Founders Park, just northeast of 116th Street and Hazel Dell Parkway.
Residents are invited to spend an evening learning about Carmel city services and plans. Featured speakers include:
- Carmel Fire Chief David Haboush, EFO, CFO will speak about Bleeding Control Kits and the Santa Parade.
- Carmel Police Chief James Barlow will give an update on city safety and schools resource officers.
- Carmel Streets Department Commissioner Matt Higginbotham will speak about how city officials determine what local streets get paved each year.
- Carmel Clay Parks and Recreation Director Michael Klitzing will discuss the plans for the new park at 146th Street and River Road, as well as plans for the new greenway forming on the east side.
- Water Utility Director John Duffy will unveil initial plans for the pump house designs at Legacy
