A toddler is recovering after being pulled from a Fishers neighborhood retention pond.
The incident occurred at approximately 3:45 p.m. on Monday near Heroic Way, just east of Brooks School Road and north of 131st Street.
The child was initially transported by paramedics to IU Saxony Hospital and then transferred to Riley Children’s Hospital.
The Fishers Police Department is not releasing further details on the incident.
