Fishers picked up a big win at Lawrence North on Tuesday, 61-58.
The first quarter was tight, with the Wildcats leading 14-13 by the end of the period. Taden Metzger helped keep the Tigers in the game with three 3-pointers. Fishers took control in the second quarter, pouring in 18 points for a 31-21 lead. Six different Tigers scored, with Keenan Garner adding five points.
Lawrence North came back in the third quarter to cut Fishers’ lead to 43-39. Metzger helped keep the Tigers ahead with five points, and he then threw in two 3s in the fourth quarter to aid Fishers in sealing the game. Jalen Haralson also had six points in the fourth.
Metzger finished the game with six 3s and 22 points. Haralson added 13 points.
The Tigers are 12-10 and host Zionsville Friday in their Hoosier Crossroads Conference finale.
