The Fishers girls basketball team won a hard-fought game Monday at Pendleton Heights, 48-47.
The game was tied 11-11 after the first quarter, with the Tigers jumping ahead 26-22 by halftime. The Arabians came back in the third period to lead 36-35, and led 47-46 with seconds to go, but Makayla Triplett made a rebound basket at the buzzer to get Fishers the win.
Nevaeh Dickman led the Tigers with 22 points, also collecting five rebounds. Allison Scheu reached double-double status with 12 points and 10 rebounds. Riley Schellhammer added six points, while Triplett scored five.
Fishers is 9-4 and plays Hamilton Southeastern Friday in the Mudsock game at the Fishers Events Center.
