Tigers tear through Anderson

Fishers used strong first and third quarters to run past Anderson 75-48 Tuesday at the Tiger Den.

The Tigers jumped out to a 21-7 lead after the first period. Nevaeh Dickman scored seven points for Fishers, with Joirdyn Smith and Kate Thomas each hitting a 3-pointer. The Tigers led 33-20 at halftime, then took control in the third quarter by outscoring the Indians 20-3. Allison Scheu took over the game in that period with 11 points, including a 3. Fishers added another 22 points in the fourth.

Four Tigers players reached double figures. Scheu totaled 19 points, Dickman scored 17, Smith made three 3s on her way to 13 points and Morgan Roberts drained two triples while scoring 12.

Fishers is 2-1 and hosts two games on Saturday as part of the Fishers-HSE Classic. The Tigers play Columbus East at 11:30 a.m. and Elkhart at 5:30 p.m.
