Tigers swimming sweeps at Noblesville

Fishers swept Noblesville in an all-county dual swimming meet on Tuesday at the Millers’ pool.
The Tigers girls won 128-58, taking nine of the 12 events. Individual winners were Amilia Nusbaum in the 200 freestyle, Abby Jahns in the individual medley, Morgan Casey in diving, Corrine Yorkman in the 100 free, Sam Hietpas in the 500 free and Ellen Fero in the backstroke. Fishers also swept all three relays.
Noblesville’s Sammy Huff was a double winner, pacing the 50 free and the breaststroke. Caitlin Marshall placed first in the butterfly.
In the boys meet, Fishers won 122-64. The Tigers won the first 11 events, including the medley and 200 free relays.
Kyle Haflich and Drake Stallworth were double winners for the Tigers: Haflich took the butterfly and 500 free races, while Stallworth triumphed in the 50 and 100 freestyles. Other first-places finishers were Aaron Frollo in the 200 free, Cory Jacocks in the IM, Cole VanDevender in diving, Nick Harris in the backstroke and Joel Crull in the breaststroke.
The Millers finished the meet with a victory in the 400 free relay, won by Evan Diamente, Cameron Kramer, Jakob Janson and Jack Wolfred.
