Fishers kept its undefeated season intact on Saturday with a 52-43 win at Columbus East.
The Olympians led 10-2 in the first quarter before the Class 4A No. 10 Tigers cut that lead to 12-9 by the end of the period. The game remained close in the second period, with Columbus East leading 25-23.
Fishers had the game tied at 34-34 after three quarters, and pulled away in the fourth, making 10 of 12 free throws to secure the win.
“This was a true team effort by the Tigers with many players contributing on both ends of the floor,” said Fishers coach Lauren Votaw.
Hailey Smith led the Tigers with 19 points.
Fishers is 4-0 and opens Hoosier Crossroads Conference action Thursday with a game at Westfield.
