Fishers pitched another shutout Friday, traveling to Pike and coming home with a 40-0 victory.
The Tigers played with a steady offense, scoring two touchdowns in each of the first three quarters. Noah McPeek caught a 20-yard scoring pass from Bennett Gorak for the first TD, then Khobie Martin made a short scoring run. Jonathan Tangara’s kicks made the first-quarter score 14-0.
Sekai Bogle took over in the second period, with two touchdown runs. Fishers led 27-0 at halftime, then hit the 40-point mark for the second consecutive game in the third period. Martin punched the ball in from the one-yard line, Gorak connected with JonAnthony Hall on a 42-yard pass play touchdown.
Martin gained 173 yards on the ground, with Hall making six receptions. Gorak was 14-of-24, totaling 196 passing yards. Joshua McGuire led the tackles with nine; both he and Tony Akinbobola made six solo tackles. Ife Adeoba had one sack.
Fishers is 2-0 and begins Hoosier Crossroads Conference play next Friday at Noblesville.
