Tigers lead by halftime & never fall behind

Fishers completed its regular season with a big win over North Central, beating the Panthers 69-48 at Tiger Arena.

North Central led the Class 4A No. 1 Tigers 14-12 after one quarter, but Fishers came back to take a 29-26 lead by halftime. The Tigers then blasted through the third quarter, outscoring the Panthers 21-7, with seven different players scoring at least one point in that period. Taden Metzger had seven points in the third.

A 19-point fourth quarter sealed the victory for Fishers, including seven points from Keenan Garner, who finished the game with 15 points. Millen McCartney scored 10 points, while Metzger and Justin Kirby both had nine.

The Tigers finished the regular season 22-1. They will play Carmel next Tuesday in the first round of Sectional 8 at Noblesville.
