Tigers keep rolling, score another conference win at Brownsburg

The Fishers boys basketball team rolled to another Hoosier Crossroads Conference win on Friday, getting a 77-60 victory at Brownsburg.

The Bulldogs held a 19-17 lead on the Tigers after the first quarter. Cooper Zachary kept Fishers close with eight points, including two 3-pointers. The Tigers came back in the second period, outscoring Brownsburg 22-10 for a 39-29 lead. Jason Gardner Jr. scored six points; Fishers had six players get points in that quarter.

The third quarter also belonged to the Tigers, as they poured in 24 points for a 63-41 lead. JonAnthony Hall had eight points, and that advantage carried Fishers through the fourth quarter.

The Tigers’ depth was once again on display, as five players reached double-digit scoring. Zachary finished with 15 points, including four 3-pointers. Millen McCartney drained three triples while scoring 13 points. Gardner also added 13, Nathan Baker scored 12 and Hall had 10 points.

Fishers is 3-0 in conference play and 13-0 overall, and return to the Tiger Den tonight to host South Bend Riley.
