Tigers hold off Anderson

Fishers scored a hard-fought victory at Anderson on Wednesday, winning 63-60.
The first quarter finished in a 15-15 tie. The Tigers took control in the second period, pouring in 21 points to hold a 36-27 lead at halftime. Fishers led 47-39 after three quarters, then were able to hold off an Anderson comeback in the fourth.
Katie Burton had an incredible game, scoring a career-high 36 points. Burton made 13 of 17 free throws on the night and also collected nine rebounds. Olivia Smith pulled 11 rebounds and added nine points, while Hailey Smith had eight rebounds, six points and four steals.
The Tigers improved to 3-1 after the win and will play Columbus East Saturday at Hamilton Southeastern.
