The Fishers girls basketball team opened its season with a 43-30 loss to Center Grove Thursday at the Tiger Den.
The Tigers led 12-6 after the first quarter, but the Trojans came back to tie the game at 18-all at halftime, then jumped ahead to a 29-22 lead after the third quarter.
Toni Grace scored seven points for Fishers. Stats were unavailable due to technical difficulties and will run in Saturday’s Reporter.
The Tigers will host the Fishers Classic on Saturday. The Tigers play Southport at 10 a.m., then will take on Ben Davis at 6 p.m.
