Tigers dominate Trojans for 21st win

Fishers put on another show at the Tiger Den on Friday, as the Class 4A No. 1 Tigers overwhelmed Center Grove 88-35 to stay unbeaten for the season.

Fishers led 18-5 after the first quarter, with JonAnthony Hall scoring six points. Hall poured in nine more points in the second quarter, while Millen McCartney hit two 3-pointers, and the Tigers were up 42-10 at halftime.

McCartney hit two more 3s as part of eight third-quarter points, while Cooper Zachary also nailed a pair of triples as Fishers surged ahead 64-26. Justin Kirby took over in the fourth, scoring nine points, while Evan Makielski came off the bench to hit two 3s.

McCartney finished the game with five 3s while scoring 21 points. Hall scored 17, Zachary made four triples for 12 points, Kirby scored 11 and Jason Gardner Jr. added 10 points.

Fishers is 21-0 and plays Tuesday at Lawrence North.
