Fishers pitched a fourth-quarter shutout against North Central on Tuesday, and that led the Tigers to a 43-36 victory at the Tiger Den.
Fishers led 14-11 after one quarter. Nevaeh Dickman poured in eight points during that period. The Panthers came back to take a 26-21 halftime lead, then held a 36-32 advantage after three quarters. But the Tigers did not allow NC any points in the fourth quarter, rolling through that period 11-0. Dickman added another seven points in the fourth.
Dickman scored in every quarter on her way to 25 points. Allison Scheu and Natalie Thomas both added six points. The Tigers were helped out by perfect free-throw shooting in the fourth, going 5-for-5 as a team.
Fishers is 7-2 and travels to Evansville North this weekend to play two Saturday games. The Tigers take on Floyd Central at 11 a.m. and Gibson Southern at 6 p.m.
