Jack Brown has made history for Fishers Tigers baseball.
The recent Fishers High School graduate was named to the Second Team All Americans by the National High School Baseball Coaches Association. Brown is the first Tigers player in school history to receive All-American honors.
Brown was recently named the Hamilton County Reporter’s Player of the Year. A utility player, Brown hit .419 for his senior year with two home runs. He was just as formidable as a pitcher, striking out 51 while compiling a 7-1 record and a 2.06 earned-run average.
Brown played for the South team at the Indiana Baseball Coaches Association’s North-South All Star game and is committed to the University of Louisville. Brown is one of two players to earn honors by the NHSBCA, Mooresville’s Hogan Denny was named to the First Team.
