Three Heights students earn DoE’s certificate of multilingual proficiency

Submitted by Leanne Wood

Three Hamilton Heights High School students, Adrianna Kauffman, Victor Hernandez, and Zayra Pena, have achieved the Indiana Department of Education’s Certificate of Multilingual Proficiency. This certificate verifies students’ ability to communicate effectively in the professional workplace in both Spanish and English.

To demonstrate their language abilities, students needed to reach at least an intermediate high level in ACTFL’s rigorous test of speaking, listening, reading, and writing, as well as a sufficient score on the SAT Evidence-Based Reading and Writing portion.

Hamilton Heights is very proud of these students and their accomplishment.
