Three additional arrests made in Carmel armed robbery case

One additional juvenile and two adult suspects have been identified and arrested in connection with an armed robbery that occurred on Jan. 28 at the Village Pantry located at 9601 N. College Ave., Carmel.

At the time of the robbery, officers attempted to initiate a traffic stop on the vehicle that matched the description provided by store employees, but the driver refused to stop. A lengthy vehicle pursuit ensued, traveling through areas of Carmel and into Indianapolis.

One Carmel police vehicle sustained minor damage during the pursuit. The suspect vehicle crashed in the area of 56th Street and Georgetown Road in Indianapolis. Officers observed multiple suspects flee from the vehicle.

One juvenile male was apprehended and jailed after being treated for minor injuries sustained when jumping from the vehicle.

The additional adult suspects arrested have been identified as Lashad Khi Davis, 18, and Laurenze Edward Peterson, 18. They have been charged as follows:
