A total of 14 scholarships for $500 each are being offered to graduating seniors, undergraduate students and homemakers interested in continuing their education. The Hamilton County Extension Homemakers Association and the Indiana Extension Homemakers Association are offering these scholarships.
Health and Human Science Scholarships
The Hamilton County Extension Homemakers Association is offering six $500 scholarships to Hamilton County graduating seniors or undergraduate students.
Four are for students majoring in the Health and Human Science field including majors in departments of Foods and Nutrition; Family and Consumer Science Education; Interior Design; Textile and Clothing Design; Hospitality & Tourism; Child Development and Family Studies; Consumer Science and Retailing; Nursing; Fitness and Health; Speech, Language and Hearing; and Health Sciences. They will be awarding two additional $500 scholarships to students majoring in Elementary Education. Past winners must reapply each year.
Scholarship applications may be obtained at the Purdue Extension Hamilton County office located on the Hamilton County 4-H Fairgrounds, 2003 Pleasant St., Noblesville, or online at extension.purdue.edu/hamilton. Applications are due no later than March 1.

Career Advancement Scholarships
Indiana Extension Homemakers Association (IEHA) is an organization affiliated with the Purdue Cooperative Extension Service and is interested in furthering education, leadership and community volunteerism.
IEHA is offering eight $500 scholarships to Indiana homemakers who are 25 years of age or older. These scholarships are to be used to complete education or upgrade vocational skills.
One must be admitted, or cleared for admission, to an academic or vocational school which is state-licensed or accredited. Preference will be given to a person studying at an undergraduate level. Scholarships will be awarded with regard for financial need. Former winners may apply again.
Scholarship applications may be obtained at the Purdue Extension Hamilton County office located on the Hamilton County 4-H Fairgrounds, 2003 Pleasant St., Noblesville, or online at ieha-families.org/programs.php. Applications are due to the State Committee by March 15.
