Federal Hill Commons was full of thousands of community members Friday night celebrating the start of the school year for Noblesville Schools and the kickoff to the district’s 150th anniversary celebration. There were almost 100 school and community booths, including art, athletics, music, food trucks, photo booths, games and giveaways. The state championship Marching Millers performed for the crowd, students had the opportunity to meet a safety dog, and Conner Prairie interpreters showed visitors what school used to be like in years past.
