The Boys & Girls Club of Noblesville’s (BGCN) youth leadership clubs have joined others across the United States to contribute to Socktober.

Club members have connected to local community partners Prevail, Third Phase, and Family Promise to designate them as recipients of the socks. These partners provide a service to neighbors in crisis, and Club youth have made supporting them a priority.

Members of Torch Club, Keystone Club, and Smart Girls surpassed their initial goal for Socktober by collecting over 2,000 socks. On Thursday, Oct. 11, Club members took part in packaging the socks along with handwritten notes to the recipients of the socks. All Club members participated in Socktober activities and sending socks off with positive, uplifting messages. Volunteers from Kodiak Solutions joined alongside Club youth to assist with Socktober.
