The Hamilton County Reporter has named Carmel senior Kole Mathison as its Boys Track and Field Athlete of the Year.
Mathison closed out an exceptional career for the Greyhounds with sectional, regional and state championships in the 3200 run. He also finished third at state in the 1600 (after winning sectional and regional titles in that event) and was part of Carmel’s state third-place 4×800 relay team. Mathison will run cross country and track at the University of Colorado this fall.
