The Reporter has named Fishers junior Mischa Briggs as its 2024 Girls Tennis Player of the Year. Briggs led the Tigers to an appearance in the IHSAA state championship match, where No. 2-ranked Fishers dropped a close dual to No. 1-ranked South Bend St. Joseph, the Tigers’ only loss of the year in a dual meet. Individually, Briggs finished with a 24-2 record and among other honors, won the Hoosier Crossroads Conference tournament at No. 1 singles.
