The Noblesville girls tennis team, ranked No. 15 in the state, beat No. 17 Avon 4-1 in a Wednesday dual meet.
No. 2 singles Allie Stamm and No. 3 singles Josie Flinchum both won their matches 6-0, 6-0, with No. 2 doubles Sierra Leach and Cami Crist also getting a 6-0, 6-0 shutout. No. 1 doubles Alli Maskew and Lina Hamashuk won their match 6-1, 6-0.
No. 7-ranked Fishers also won an HCC dual, beating No. 5 Zionsville 3-2 to finish unbeaten in conference play for the season.
No. 1 singles Mischa Briggs won a three-set match, 3-6, 6-3, 6-2, to clinch the victory for the Tigers. No. 2 singles Izzy Mokra was a 6-4, 6-0 winner while Caroline Ober cruised to a 6-1, 6-0 victory.
