The IHSAA announced pairings for the girls tennis sectional tournament on Monday.
Defending state champion Carmel will host Sectional 35 at the Todd Witsken Tennis Center. The No. 7-ranked Greyhounds play University today in one semifinal match, while No. 17 Guerin Catholic takes on No. 11 Zionsville in the other semifinal. Both matches start at 5:15 p.m.
Noblesville will host Sectional 56. The No. 9 Millers take on No. 16 Westfield today in the semifinals, with Hamilton Heights to play Lapel in the other semifinal. Both matches begin at 4:30 p.m.
Fishers and Hamilton Southeastern will play in Sectional 31 at Anderson. Today’s semifinal matches feature the No. 2 Tigers taking on the host Indians, while the No. 22 Royals will face Pendleton Heights. Both matches start at 4:30 p.m.
The winners of today’s semifinal matches at all three sites advance to Thursday’s championship matches.

Westfield dropped a close dual meet Monday at North Central, falling 3-2 to the No. 12 Panthers.
The Shamrocks’ wins came from Isla Harvey, who won by default due to injury, and from Addi Kooi, who got a 6-1, 6-1 victory.
Westfield finished 11-6 for the regular season.
