The Hamilton Southeastern boys tennis team played its first home match of the year on Thursday, and it was a victorious match.
The Royals beat Hoosier Crossroads Conference opponent Brownsburg 5-0. No. 3 singles Abhi Chaddha quickly got Southeastern’s first point with a 6-0, 6-0 win, then No. 2 singles Paul Schneider finished his match, winning 6-1, 6-0.
No. 1 doubles Logan Bill and Nolan Houseman also were victorious 6-1, 6-0, clinching the meet. No. 2 doubles Elliot Cox and Leo McVeigh came back to win 6-7, 6-2, 6-1, and No. 1 singles Rohan Golla also overcame a first set tiebreak, finishing the sweep with a 6-7, 6-1, 6-3 victory, hitting a winner down the line.
The Royals are back in action Monday when they host North Central.

Noblesville also played an HCC match on Thursday, falling to Avon 5-0.
The Millers No. 1 doubles team of Rory Bushong and Liam Shepard extended their Orioles opponents to three sets before dropping the match 2-6, 6-2, 6-2.
Noblesville will travel to Carmel’s Todd Witsken Tennis Center on Saturday to play both the Greyhounds and Bloomington South.
