Tennis: Fishers, Carmel & Southeastern all victorious Thursday

The Hamilton Southeastern girls tennis team got a close win at Avon Thursday, 3-2 in a Hoosier Crossroads Conference contest.

Royals winners were Emma Bieberich at No. 2 singles, Tatum Keaffaber at No. 3 singles and the No. 1 doubles team of Novelle Lee and Maya Wetzel.

Southeastern will host three teams today.

Fishers beat Westfield 3-2 Thursday in an all-county dual meet.

No. 2 singles Alana Raymond and No. 3 singles Addi Kooi won matches for the Shamrocks. Fishers results were unavailable at press time.

Carmel beat North Central 5-0 on Thursday.

The Greyhounds were led by Grace Kim, who was the first off the court in a dominating performance. Carmel is 10-1 for the season and plays today at the Jimmy Clark Invitational at Homestead.

Hamilton Heights dropped a 3-2 meet to Elwood on Thursday.

The Huskies got wins from No. 3 singles Natalie Garcia 6-2, 6-2 and from No. 1 doubles Meredith Dodson and Taylor Harley 6-4, 6-2.

Heights plays next week at the Hoosier Conference meet at Twin Lakes.
