Taylored Systems, which has created customized technology solutions for businesses of every size and kind in Indiana, is joining forces with the New Lisbon Telephone Company, Inc. (NLTC), New Lisbon Broadband and Communications (NLBC), and Pennsylvania Telephone Company (PTC), providers of best-in-class telephone and broadband service. These companies are part of the New Lisbon Holdings, Inc.’s family of companies. All the organizations focus on delivering exceptional service that meets customers’ specific needs, that is, ensuring a smooth transition and will result in new products and services offerings for both Taylored Systems’ and New Lisbon Broadband and Communications’ customers.
The move comes as the result of Taylored Systems Founder and President Bill Taylor’s decision to retire from telecom. An Indiana native who grew up on a farm and attended Vincennes University, Taylor has always focused on serving the needs of his community. He served on the Board of Directors of the Boys and Girls Club of Noblesville for over 20 years, the Board of Directors for the Noblesville Schools Education Foundation for over 10 years and the Noblesville Chamber Board. Taylor is a member of the Noblesville Sunrisers Kiwanis Club.
Taylor will stay on for several months to consult with the New Lisbon Holdings team and ensure Taylored Systems’ customers experience a seamless transition.
“When John Greene with New Lisbon Holdings offered to purchase Taylored Systems, keep it in the same location, and keep our current management and staff, I knew it was the right opportunity for all,” Taylor said. “With the synergies between the two companies, I know the company is in good hands to continue the nearly 40 years of supporting and growing our fantastic customer base. Congratulations to Amy Hart-Ramey, president, and John Greene, CEO of New Lisbon Holdings, on building a great future supporting current and future customers.”
In his time working on phone systems and broadband internet service, Greene has made it a priority to stay on top of the rapid changes in today’s technology. As a result, New Lisbon Holdings’ companies have remained at the forefront of the constantly changing technology landscape.
“My company was looking for a partner for business systems that we could work within our service territory in East Central Indiana. After talking with Bill, it was apparent that this was more than I had expected, and we moved to an actual acquisition,” Greene said. “I am excited about the potential future synergies between Taylored Systems and the New Lisbon companies. But most important to me was the culture of Taylored Systems. Bill did a fantastic job of building a company culture that values employees and customers – a culture that mirrors what we have done at New Lisbon. Consequently, the Taylored Systems and New Lisbon teams have already worked on one successful joint contract. The future looks very bright.”
Greene added that given that Taylored Systems has been operating in the business IT space successfully for the past 40 years, NLCT’s focus will be on ensuring that current and new customers continue to receive custom solutions using a personal approach. So, the existing management and employee team, led by Hart-Ramey, will continue to run the company. Even the name will remain, with the new entity called Taylored Systems, LLC.
“I am very excited about the partnership and working with John and I am honored to lead the talented team of employees at Taylored Systems,” said Taylored Systems President Hart-Ramey, who has been a Noblesville resident for more than 45 years, and a part of Taylored Systems for 23 years. “We will carry the values of family, integrity, excellence and commitment with us into this next chapter of Taylored Systems.”
