The Westfield girls swim team opened its season Saturday by hosting the annual Kristen Rice Invitational.
The Shamrocks won the five-team meet by scoring 796.5 points and taking eight events. Alexa Boillat was a double individual winner in the butterfly and 500 freestyle, Kate Peck was first in the 200 free, Alex Irvin won the backstroke, Isabella Amaya paced the individual medley and Ally Doyle tied for first in diving. Westfield also won two relays: Boillat, Harrison, Isabella Amaya and Bridget Mick won the medley relay, while Irvin, Amaya, Boillat and Mick were first in the 400 free relay.
