Swimming: Heights boys & girls sweep Guerin Catholic

The Hamilton Heights swim teams swept a dual meet with Guerin Catholic on Tuesday.

The Huskies won the girls meet 101-53, taking 10 of the 12 individual events. Double winners included Ayla Madara in the 200 freestyle and breaststroke, Amira Leer in the individual medley and butterfly and Audrey Cain in the 50 free and backstroke. Sophia Hulen was first in the 100 free and Heights swept all three relays.

Anna Ososki was first in diving for the Golden Eagles, while Taylor Tragesser won the 500 free.

The Huskies boys team won 108-47, with victories in seven of the 11 events. Aiden Clarke won back-to-back events, placing first in the 200 free, then turning around and winning the IM. Rowan Donald was first in the 50 free, Hudson Holt won the breaststroke and Heights swept all three relays.

Guerin Catholic’s Sam Holl was a double winner in the butterfly and backstroke. Will Ladine was first in the 100 free and Joey Kunkel won the 500 free.
