Swimming: Hamilton Heights & Fishers split their wins, Noblesville sweeps meet with Southeastern

Hamilton Heights split a dual meet with Tipton Tuesday.

The Huskies boys, swimming for the first time this season, won 98-83. Heights was led by a double victory by Aiden Clarke in the 200 and 500 freestyles, while Nathan Cox was first in diving. The Huskies also won the 200 free relay.

Heights’ girls team lost 103-82. Teegan Madara got two victories, in the individual medley and breaststroke, with Campbell Lively-Mason placing first in diving.

Fishers opened its season Monday by splitting a dual meet with Zionsville.

The Tigers girls won 117-69, taking 10 of the 12 events. Jo Jo Ramey was a double winner in the 200 and 500 freestyles, while Avery Stein picked up two victories in the IM and breaststroke.

Fishers’ boys team was edged out by the Eagles 96-87. Connor Carlile swept the 200 and 500 freestyles.

Noblesville swept a dual meet with Hamilton Southeastern Tuesday in the season opener for both teams.

The Millers girls won their meet 105-81, while the boys won 114-72. In the girls meet, Noblesville’s Sabrina Ledwith (200 and 500 freestyles) and Caroline Santerre (100 free and backstroke) were double winners. The Millers’ Mason Biddle won the IM and backstroke in the boys meet, while the Royals’ Jihoon Jung was first in the 200 and 500 freestyles.
