The Carmel swim teams swept a pair of dual meets with Hamilton Southeastern on Tuesday.
In the girls meet, the Greyhounds won 114-72. Carmel won 10 of the 12 events; individual winners were Erin Cummins in the individual medley, Colleen Duffy in the 50 and 100 freestyles, Alaina Hayde in diving, Madelyn Christman in the butterfly and backstroke, Ashlea Swingwood in the 500 free and Margaret Love in the breaststroke. The ‘Hounds won two relays, with Duffy, Love, Christman and Cummins taking the medley relay and Duffy, Love, Christman and Paris Christie placing first in the 200 free relay.
Molly Pedersen picked up a win for the Royals in the 200 free. She finished the meet by teaming with Ava Olson, Lauren Bergman and Anna Stolle for a Southeastern win the 400 free relay.
In the boys meet, Carmel won 134-52, also taking 10 of the 12 events. Individual winners were Connor Lathrop in the 200 and 500 freestyles, Augustus Rothrock in the IM, Griffin Hadley in the 50 free and breaststroke, Christopher Holmes in the 100 free. Leo Han in the backstroke. The Greyhounds swept all three relays: Hadley, Rothrock, Holmes and William Kok were first in the medley relay; Rothrock, Kok, Ethan Johns and AJ Robertson won the 200 free relay; and Hadley, Nicholas Edwards, Kellen Reese and Nicholas Plumb triumphed in the 400 free relay.
Southeastern’s winners were Keegan Streett in the butterfly and Noah Ebeyer in diving.
Millers, ‘Rocks split dual
The Noblesville and Westfield swim teams split a dual meet Saturday morning at the Millers’ aquatic center.
In the girls meet, Noblesville won 100-86. Individual winners were Abby Harvey in the 50 freestyle, Caitlin Marshall in the 100 free and Maya McDonald in the breaststroke. The Millers swept all three relays: Caroline Santerre, McDonald, Emily Knott and Sammy Huff teamed up for a victory in the medley relay; Huff, Harvey, McDonald and Reagan Hart were first in the 200 free relay; and Claire Yeakey, Amelia Field, Katie Kramer and Sophie Resner triumphed in the 400 free relay.
Shamrocks winners were Macy Hoaglan in the 200 and 500 freestyles, Annie Spaletto in the individual medley, Lucy Hauser in diving and Alexa Boillat in the butterfly and backstroke.
In the boys meet, Westfield won 103.5-82.5, winning 11 of the 12 events. Getting victories for the Shamrocks were Evan Lake in the 200 and 500 freestyles, Cooper Tinsley in the IM and breaststroke, Alex Casas in the 50 free, Ben Hobson in diving, Noah Brauer in the butterfly and backstroke, Ben Morse in the 100 free. Brauer, Tinsley, Casas and Lake won the medley relay, while Lake, Morse, Brauer and Will Kreag were first in the 400 free relay.
The Noblesville 200 free relay team of Aidan Biddle, Justin DuBois, Ty Cox and Cavan Cameron won that event.
In a Tuesday dual meet, Fishers swept Noblesville, with the girls winning 128-58 and the boys winning 141-44. Complete results were not available.
