Fishers Arts Council (FAC) will again participate with the City of Fishers in the Shop Fishers: Holiday Series on Saturday, Nov. 27 in the Art Gallery at City Hall in Fishers from 1 to 6 p.m.
FAC will have 13 in-person artists and two virtual artists participating. The artists will demonstrate how they do their work and give you the opportunity to purchase their work. They are all local artists and provide you with a way to support artists and shop local.
Additionally, FAC will offer two make-and-take art classes every hour, starting at 1:30 p.m. The options will be Alcohol Ink lead by artist Candi Walker and Weaving lead by the staff of Tabby Tree Weaver, for a $5 donation each. Everyone who participates in a class will take home their own artistic creation that will be perfect for gift giving.
Participating in-person artists and their specialties are: Dennis Adams, Woodworking; Nathasa Ray Anderson, Watercolor and Ink Illustrations; Maeve Asano, Charcoal Drawings; Patty Coulter, Watercolor Painting; Krista Darrow, Acrylic and Oil; Duane Freed, Luxury Faux Floral Décor; Paige Harper, Stoneware Clay; Olivia Harris, Clay Figure Sculpting; Hikaru Kikuchi, Abstract Art; Joanne Roeder, Oil Painting; Doug Sauter, Stained Glass; Lena Statsenko, Fiber Arts; Anna Villanyi, Paper Snowflake Art.
