Investigators with the Fishers Fire Department are investigating a fire that occurred at an unoccupied residence near 106th Street and Hague Road.
The fire, described as “suspicious,” started Sunday evening.
Firefighters reportedly had a difficult time accessing the fire due an overgrown lane and a bridge being gone leading to the residence.
Fire officials indicated nearly 1,000 feet of hose had to be dragged through a woods to access the fire.
Smoke from the fire could be seen as far away as Castleton.
Because this area is not within the City of Fishers, the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Department is assisting in the investigation.
