Summer fun in full swing around Fishers

Summer is in full swing, and the City of Fishers and Fishers Parks are celebrating the season of play, tradition, and memory making with a full lineup of free community events for all ages.

Join the fun with concerts every Tuesday and Friday night at the Nickel Plate District Amphitheater; play in a giant mud pit during the popular summer tradition, Mud Day; support local and save big during the Shop Fishers: Summer Series; cool off during the family favorite, Monsoon Madness; shop the season’s freshest picks at the award-winning Fishers Farmers’ Market every Saturday morning; and enjoy performances from renowned local and national artists at the two-day Blues Fest event on Labor Day weekend.

And with cooler days right around the corner, mark your calendar for more free fun this fall, including Glow in the Park on Sept. 18, Fall Festival at the Fishers AgriPark on Oct. 14, Boo Bash on Oct. 30, and the Shop Fishers: Holiday Series kicking off on Small Business Saturday, Nov. 27.

Summer Concert Series

The free concert series includes performances at the Nickel Plate District Amphitheater (6 Municipal Drive) on Tuesday and Friday evenings, presented by IU Health Saxony, and Wednesday lunchtime concerts on Central Green presented by Meyer Najem. This weekend, party under the stars with Purple Veins – The Essential Prince Tribute Band, on Friday, July 16, from 8 to 10 p.m. at the Nickel Plate District Amphitheater. Fishers Farmers’ Market
Saturdays through Sept. 25 / 8 a.m. to noon / Nickel Plate District Amphitheater

Shop the season’s freshest picks at the Fishers Farmers’ Market, presented by IU Health Saxony, every Saturday from 8 a.m. until noon at the Nickel Plate District Amphitheater. Ranked one of the top farmers’ markets in the region, the market showcases more than 60 vendors from Central Indiana that offer fresh produce, baked goods, honey, specialty food items, meats, coffee, plants, and more. Mud Day

The messiest event of the year, presented by Centier Bank, returns this weekend to Cyntheanne Park (12383 Cyntheanne Road) with a giant mud pit and a variety of muddy activities, food trucks, live entertainment, and more! Shakespeare in the Park: Much Ado About Nothing
Wednesday, July 21 / 8 to 10 p.m. / Nickel Plate District Amphitheater

Enjoy an evening at the Nickel Plate District Amphitheater with a special performance of Much Ado About Nothing from the Boston-based Brown Box Theatre Company. No tickets are required. Blankets and lawn chairs are welcome.

Monsoon Madness

Beat the heat as Holland Park transforms into a pop-up water park during one of the most popular events of the summer. Blues Fest
