The City of Carmel has announced the start of the 2021 Summer Family Concert Series at the Gazebo. These free family concerts continue on Wednesday evenings through Sept. 29 (except for June 30) at the Gazebo at Carmel Civic Square. All concerts begin at 7 p.m. and last approximately 75 minutes.
The 2021 series offers 17 family-friendly concerts featuring a mix of pop, rock, jazz and country musical performances. In addition, at 6 p.m. on both June 23 and July 28, children’s favorite, Ruditoonz, will give a performance for kids of all ages.
For a complete listing of the concert dates and performers, please visit CarmelGazeboConcerts.org.
Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and a picnic supper to enjoy this Carmel summer tradition. In case of rain or inclement weather, concerts will be canceled. Follow along on Facebook to be among the first to know about rain delays or cancellations.
The city will continue having recycling bins alongside trash receptacles on the lawn of the Gazebo. The Carmel Fire Department will have a general information booth to provide public health and safety information, COVID-19 vaccine information, hand sanitizer and more.
Finally, everyone wants to keep pets safe. This is not possible with all the crowds, noises and food, so please leave them safely at home. Thank you for understanding.
The Summer Family Concert Series at the Gazebo is presented by the Carmel Fountain Square Committee, a non-profit volunteer organization. Attendance at the free concerts has increased steadily to as many as 2,500 persons each Wednesday since the series began in 1993. The series is fully funded by local government, as well as by individual and corporate sponsors.
