Student Impact of Westfield’s Black Tie Bingo raises over $62K

Student Impact of Westfield announced Monday that the second annual Black Tie Bingo fundraiser raised over $62,000 at the event on March 3. This is almost $15,000 more than last year’s inaugural event.

The night included a silent auction, 10 rounds of bingo, and a game of heads and tails. Nearly 185 people were in attendance for an evening of dinner, dancing, and gambling for Student Impact.

“We are thrilled with the community support surrounding our Black Tie Bingo event,” said Danyele Easterhaus, Executive Director of Student Impact. It’s moving to have the opportunity to bring the community together to support the kids in our community and have such an amazing turnout.”

Black Tie Bingo will continue to be an annual event with proceeds going directly to Student Impact operations. Beginning in May, Student Impact will begin construction on a $500,000 expansion project on the organization’s existing property. Construction is scheduled to be completed by Sept. 1.
