Stop me if you’ve heard this one: a writer and a cartoonist walk into a coffee shop …

The Hamilton County Reporter’s humorist, Scott Saalman (left) and our editorial cartoonist, Tim Campbell (right) have never been formally introduced. And they still haven’t, but they happened to be in the same place at the same time and recognized one another from the pages of the newspaper they are both affiliated with. Thanks go out to The Well Coffeehouse, 8890 E. 116th St. #120, Fishers, for offering a brand of creativity fuel that lured them both in on the same day, thus saving us the bother of introductions. (Editor’s note to self: we need to do a better job of getting our people together.)
