Steve and Sharon (Barth) Cavanaugh of Noblesville will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on Nov. 6, 2025.
High school sweethearts from a small community near Tiffin, Ohio, they were married on Nov. 6, 1965, and moved to Noblesville in 1971, where they’ve made their home ever since.
Active in the community, Steve has shared his gift of music as a longtime tenor in the First United Methodist Church choir, singing for countless weddings and celebrations.
They are the proud parents of Carmen (Dave) Clift and the late Greg Cavanaugh, loving grandparents of McKenzie (Nick) Barbknecht, Madison Clift, Emma, Cole, and Grant Cavanaugh, and great-grandparents of Briley and Kolton.
They will celebrate this special milestone with a family gathering at the home of Dave & Carmen Clift.
Hi Steve and Sharon,
Many happy returns. We have many happy memories being with you during our girls swim meets throughout the years and of our trip to Israel with you and other members of our church. I can remember a woman coming up to me in the airport and said she cried when she heard Steve singing the Lord’s Prayer in a chapel. Please enjoy your coming years together. Betty and I did get to celebrate our 65th together.
