County Clerk calls on teens, teachers to work June 2 primary
Many of the volunteers who work the polls on Election Day are unable to do so this year because they fall into the high-risk category for COVID-19. County Clerk Kathy Williams says the paid positions are ideal for teenagers and schoolteachers who will be out of school by the June 2 Primary Election.

“If you’re out of school and would like to help us we’d love to have you,” Williams said. “A lot of the seniors who typically fill these roles just can’t do it this year, so we’re hoping the younger generation will step forward and fulfill their civic duty.”
Williams says she needs at least 100 workers – possibly more if the Indiana Election Commission should decide the election will be conducted entirely through absentee ballots. All Hoosiers now have the option of voting by mail in the primary election. To request an absentee ballot, please click here.
Those who are interested in working the election can download a form on Hamilton County’s website. The form requires a signature from a principal if you are under 18 years of age, but that signature is being waived this year.

Ms. Williams and the HCRCC- Laura D’Asio Campbell, spouse of Hamilton County Superior Court & HCRCC Chair, Terry Anker owner of the county newspapers and Anker Capital Group and a few others pick everyone that runs for any office in every election.
If you don’t suck up to them you will not even have a scintilla of a chance to be elected.
The same is true if the Marion County Democratic Party.
