Westfield picked up its second win in a row on Tuesday, beating Western Boone 54-42 at The Rock.
The Shamrocks slowly built their lead over the game, outscoring the Stars in each quarter. Westfield led 11-10 after the first quarter and 23-17 at halftime.
Jade Shipley scored 18 points to lead the ‘Rocks, while Alyssa Crockett reached double-double territory with 16 points and 11 rebounds. Crockett also had five steals and three blocked shots. Ashtin DeCraene pulled eight rebounds, with Ava Henson and Gigi Eldredge both collecting five.
Westfield is 6-1 and will host Franklin Central Saturday afternoon in a Hoosier Crossroads Conference game.
