Stanly (Stan) M. Harmon

May 12, 1943 – July 21, 2022

Stanly (Stan) M. Harmon, 79, Westfield, passed to his heavenly home on Thursday, July 21, 2022. He was born on May 12, 1943, to Henry Marion and Winona E. (Isenhower) Harmon in Lebanon, Ind.

Stan attended Westfield High School and married the love of his life in October 1962. He and his late wife, Patricia Harmon (Cummings), stayed in Westfield and raised two daughters, Sherri Hoogeveen (Bill) and Kimberly Hall (Thomas). He loved his family deeply and got great joy from grandchildren, Jamie Kilborn (Josh), Matt Hoogeveen (Yoaly), Justin Hall and Jarred Hall; and great-grandchildren, Taylor Kilborn, Chloe Kilborn, Alyana Hoogeveen, Aidyn Hoogeveen, Easton Hall and Wyatt Hall.

Stan previously worked for Westfield Gas Company, Reel Pipe and Valve, and later retired as a self-employed contractor in Westfield. He knew no strangers and loved spending time with family and friends. He was not one to stay home but rather go for long drives with his wife, stop in local restaurants and share conversation over coffee with his friends.

In addition to his parents, Stan was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Patricia Kay Harmon (Cummings); his brother, Fred Harmon; and his sisters, Mary Clements and Jean Loveall.

Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m., with services at 4 p.m., on Monday, August 8, 2022, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, Noblesville, with Pastor Matt Gaylor officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Society or Hamilton County Veteran Services.

The family would like to personally thank the staff at Roudebush VA Medical Center for the wonderful care they have provided to him and their caring support to his family.

I am so sorry for his family and friends loss. Stan was our single axle driver at IMI Stony Creek aggregate plant in Noblesville. I became close to him and to Patricia. I have talked to him off and on over the last few years, after he retired from hauling. I sure will miss him but I know he is reunited with the love of his life who he missed so much. Prayers for all of you. I will not be able to get off work to attend but please know you will be in my thoughts and prayers.
