June 14, 1953 – June 6, 2021
Stanley E. Robinson, Sheridan, passed away on June 6, 2021. He was born in Indianapolis on June 14, 1953, to Robert Eldon and Hazel (Hoaks) Robinson.
After attending Carmel High School, Stanley learned he had a talent and passion for building things. This led to him becoming a self-employed interior trim carpenter, and eventually allowed him to start his own business in 1989 – “Robinson Construction,” which owned and operated for 32 years.
When Stanley was not working on a construction project, he took pleasure in the simple things in life, and could usually be found around a dart board or pool table. When the weather permitted, he also would spend countless hours playing golf. While at home, Stanley loved to cook, often making dessert pies, such as rhubarb and lemon meringue. His favorite was making cherry cheesecake for family and friends. Stanley also like to dance.
Stanley loved his family, and to cherish his memory he leaves behind his children, Mary Robinson, Stanley “Chip” Robinson, Jr., Luke Robinson, Justin Robinson, Jacob Robinson, Parker Robinson, Peyton Robinson, and his step-daughter Megan Campbell; siblings, Dave Robinson, Robert (Kathy) Robinson, and Brend (Doug) Harding; along with 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A celebration of Stanley’s life will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, June 26, 2021, at 2055 W. 221st St., Sheridan. Everyone is invited to sign the online guest, leave a condolence or share a memory at fisherfunerals.com.
